Mackerel is a culture magazine. We tell contemporary stories of authentic experiences, giving a deep-dive perspective on places, spaces and people. Much like the “maquerel" in Old French - a “go-between” - Mackerel is a broker of experience.
Mackerel is Marc (poet/photographer/sugar-peanut junkie) and Carol (writer/PR dolly/wannabe equestrian).
